1950's Simplicity 8257 Sun Dress, Play Suit, Shorts Pattern B32

Original vintage Simplicity 8257 large envelope Designer's Pattern, copyright 1950. The sunback dress has shoulder straps and front button closing. Large pockets at the side seams are outlined with top stitching and purchased rope belt is worn.
Playsuit has front button bodice and short skirt with front opening.
Brief shorts have waistband, welt pockets and back zipper.
Size 14; Bust 32; Waist 26; Hip 35.
The pattern is complete and cut. One pattern piece has a tidy old tape repair but is completely usable. All other pattern pieces are in excellent condition.
The instruction sheet, on the paragraph "Waistline Seam and Front Edges" has a torn and missing chunk (about the size of a quarter) so several words are missing as a result but there is an illustration next to the paragraph.
The envelope has a torn upper corner that affects both front and back but no pertinent information is missing. Also, several edge tears. Click additional image below to view envelope back.
