1920's Flapper Brassiere, Pantie Dance Set Pattern

Model: et663

 Sold Out

Very rare 1920's Simplicity pattern 606. Unused condition and in original folds.
This is a smaller format envelope measuring 6-1/4" by 3-7/8".
Unprinted pattern pieces. All directions are on the back of the envelope.
Misses Dance Set pattern. Brassiere has back hook/eye closing. Pantie has drawstring waist and lace edging.
Size 16; Bust 34 (note: Bust Size not listed - Bust 34 is based on other Simplicity Size 16 patterns from the same time)
The envelope is tanned with age but sturdy with no tears.
The pattern pieces are in amazingly well preserved condition.
Undated  1927-1929. "Patent Applied For".

(note: As with all very early patterns, the instructions are minimal. From what I can tell the "pantie" looks to be constructed like a mini half-slip with a pleat in the back. No mention of stitching front to back section between the legs although the envelope sketch looks like there could be a short length of vertical stitching near the center front hemline.)

NOTE: I purchased these patterns several years ago from a lady whose grandmother had purchased them in the 1960's when the contents of an old closed down general store was auctioned off. A treasure of a find and all are in amazing condition.
