Vintage Vogue Chantilly Dress and Petticoat 1950's Pattern B34

Very rare Vogue Designer Original pattern created for Teen-Age by Modess.
Released in 1957 this particular pattern is a Misses' size and is uncut and in original factory folds.
Full circle skirt is attached to fitted bodice at waistline.
Bodice, made of point d'esprit over one layer of net, is covered at top with rows of narrow lace.
Point d'esprit skirt has two layers of stiff net underneath.
Lace bands on midsection and skirt are a combination of lace beading, insertion and edging sewn together before application
to dress.
Petticoat is of one layer of taffeta and one layer of net, to which net ruffles are attached.
Ribbon may be run through beading or sequin sewn at each hole.
Size 14; Bust 34; Waist 26; Hip 36.
Pattern is complete. Instructions are well detailed and well illustrated. Envelope, which is a sturdy quality linen finish paper, has some color aging. One small tear on left edge; otherwise good condition.  Pattern pieces are in excellent condition.
