Wonderful old photograph of five women from the early 1900's. Gives you a glimpse at period hair do's; clothing and a bit of jewelry, as well. The center lady is sporting a long watch fob. All ladies are wearing small collar pins. Two tiny pairs of pierced earrings - no other ear ornamentation. All hair is tidily pinned up. Pin-tucks and covered buttons on the clothing. I just love discovering all the details in old photos. I have no history on this photo. Perhaps they are sisters...or cousins...co-workers...club members? The lady on the far left looks a bit like Diane Keaton.
The frame is a rustic, do-it-yourself piece. The back has upholstery tacks and a length of old ribbon for hanging. You might enjoy the handcrafted look or decide to re-frame the photograph and oval matting.
Outer measurements are 8" X 6 1/4". That includes the pressed brassed corners which have been tacked on.
