Vintage Saber and Paperweight Cabochon Chatelain Brooch

Magnificent old chatelain style pin with unique flower foil cabochons. Saber shapes are done in brass or possibly brass over copper. Oval cabochons are crystal clear over embossed foil flowers.Colors are golden yellow, garnet red and turquoise. The style is often referred to as, "paperweight".
Quality construction with riveted assemblage and prong settings. Two simple link length of brass chain extend between the two sabers.
Each saber measures 2 1/2" long. The shorter of the two chains measures 4 1/4". The longer of the two chains measures 5 1/2". No markings or signatures to indicate country of origin. My estimate is Czech or Germany. Clasps are in fine working order. Aging to metal portions in the way of soft tarnish and patina.
